The storyteller tells us about Abraham a successful doctor who set off to Greece , because of full freedom that the gets there and on the contrary about Alec Carmichael is also a doctor but his main goal is to get as much money as it is possible.
The narrator tries to find out something about Strickland and Tiare provides him with some information. Charles marries Ada , who is a seventeen-year old girl. Strickland still paints and lives in harmony with Ada. They have children but the artist is not interested in them because his only passion is art . Then the narrator gets the information about Charles's illness. Ada takes care of him. Later dies his daughter and he himself . The storyteller returns to London and tells Mrs. Strickland Charles and his life.Than the reporter asks several questions about Charlie , he writes a book about him.
